  On 13th February, Bernd Meerpohl, CEO and chairman of the board of the German ‘hidden champion’, the global leader in livestock and poultry equipment manufacturing —— Big Dutchman, and his delegation visited Suxitong Science and Technology Industrial Park. 

  Big Dutchman is an enterprise originated in the Netherlands, grew in the United States and developed in Germany. Since its establishment in 1938, it has gradually become a leader in global livestock and poultry equipment manufacturing. In 2024, the company prospered in a downward trend. Its global turnover reached 1.2 billion euros, presenting strong development momentum. In 2023, Big Dutchman German company successfully signed an agreement with Suxitong Industrial Park to build a manufacturing base in the park, focusing on manufacturing, sales and operation of livestock and poultry equipment under its brand ‘Big Dutchman’ and a new brand ‘LightOn’. The total investment of the project is about 30 million euros. After it reaches production capacity, the annual sales revenue is expected to be no less than 1 billion yuan. 

  During the visit, Meerpohl and the delegation conducted on-site visits to assess the investment environment, industrial layout and infrastructure construction conditions of the industrial park. He said that Suxitong Industrial Park has an excellent location, complete supporting industrial chain and professional foreign investment service, which provided strong support for the rapid implementation and operation of the project. It also further strengthened the group’s confidence and determination to invest in Nantong.  

  In the past few years, Suxitong Industrial Park has attracted more than 130 foreign-invested enterprises to register, including 10 German-speaking area manufacturing projects such as Unisteel, Stiwa, Bader and Starlim.

    2月13日，全球畜禽设备制造领域的龙头企业——德资“隐形冠军”大荷兰人公司全球总裁及董事会主席贝恩德·梅尔普一行莅临苏锡通科技产业园区进行考察。

    大荷兰人公司是一家源自荷兰、成长于美国、发展在德国的企业，自1938年创立以来，已逐步发展成为全球畜禽设备制造领域的领军者。2024年，公司逆势上扬，全球营业总额高达12亿欧元，展现出强劲的发展势头。 2023年，德国大荷兰人公司与苏锡通园区成功签约，决定在园区设立生产基地，专注于旗下“必达”品牌及新品牌“铼滕”畜禽设备的生产、销售及运营。该项目总投资约3000万欧元，达产后预计年销售额不低于10亿元。

    考察期间，梅尔普一行实地考察了园区的投资环境、产业布局及基础设施建设情况。他表示，苏锡通园区地理位置优越，产业链配套完善，外资服务水平专业，为项目的快速落地投产提供了有力保障，也进一步坚定了集团在南通投资的信心和决心。

    近年来，苏锡通园区已吸引了130余家外资企业注册，其中包括联钢、施特万、柏德、史达利等10家德语区制造业项目的落户。
