  On 17th March, Nantong Port Tonghai Container Terminal completed its first lithium battery energy storage system shipping operation. The lithium battery energy storage systems were shipped by ‘SINOTRANS HONG KONG’ to the Port of Nagoya. 

  Lithium battery energy storage system, as a key energy storage device in social development, has an increasing demand in the international market. According to the classification in International Maritime Dangerous Goods Code, this type of cargo has extremely high safety requirements during shipping.
