  On 3rd April, a ‘fantasy journey’ at doorstep started at a VR immersive cinema on level 2 of Hai'an Xiruncheng Commercial Complex. It is an innovative cultural tourism project developed by Hai’an. 

  Hai’an VR immersive cinema is Nantong’s first large-scale VR theme cinema. With advanced VR technology, the cinema has broken the spatial limitations of traditional cinemas and introduced the audience to a realistic virtual world. The audience can enter the cinema, choose the films they like, receive the PICO glasses from the workers, and then immerse themselves in the scenes in the movie, ‘travel’ in the movie, like travelling through time and space to explore history, exploring outer space to experience the charm of science fiction, or experiencing adventure in a fantasy world. 

  Wang Min, a citizen who walked out of the cinema, said, ‘I watched a film about dinosaurs. I felt the dinosaurs passing by me, and I can also interact with them. This experience is different from traditional cinemas.’

    4月3日，一场家门口的“奇幻之旅”在海安市喜润城商业综合体二楼的VR沉浸影院拉开帷幕。这是海安市打造的一个创新型文旅项目。

    海安VR沉浸影院作为南通市内首家大型VR主题影院。影院依托先进的VR技术，打破了传统影院的空间限制，将观众带入一个逼真的虚拟世界。观众进入影院，选择喜欢的影片，然后接过工作人员手中PICO眼镜戴上后，就会沉浸在影片中的场景里，可以在里边“旅游”起来，仿佛穿越时空探索历史，遨游太空领略科幻魅力，或是置身奇幻世界体验冒险乐趣。

    走出影院的市民王敏说：“我看的是一部恐龙题材的影片，身临其境般地感受恐龙从我身边经过，还可以互动，这种体验有别于传统影院。”
