On 31 March, China's domestically produced super-large diameter tunnel boring machine ‘Fenji’ rolled off the production line in the Tongzhou Bay Demonstration Zone. The ‘Fenji’ tunnel boring machine is 145 meters long and weighs about 3,800 tons. The cutterhead has an excavation diameter of 14.33 meters. It integrates multiple intelligent devices, enabling remote driving and tunneling, and real-time monitoring of key components.
