At 10 am on 5 July, the pipe jacking project of Nantong Ligang Water Plant passed the official on-site verification and certification of Guinness World Records, winning the Guinness World Record for the ‘longest pipe jacking’ with a single jacking length of 3214.96 meters, setting a new record in the field of underwater infrastructure.

The project adopted a double-line DN2600 large-diameter steel pipe jacking method. Starting from crossing the Yangtze River on 3 November 2025, after 234 days of continuous hard work, it smoothly traversed key points such as the Yangtze River shoals and dedicated waterways, and finally jacked to the design position of water intake head in the middle of the Yangtze River as scheduled.

At the certification ceremony, the Guinness World Records official adjudicator awarded the project a certificate, officially confirming the establishment of this world record and marking China's leap to an internationally leading level in ultra-long-distance underwater pipe jacking construction technology. The complete set of technical solutions and construction experience developed by the project provides a practical reference model for similar ultra-long-distance cross-water pipe jacking projects both domestically and internationally.

南通一项目获吉尼斯官方认证

7月5日上午10时，南通李港水厂取水工程水域顶管项目通过吉尼斯世界纪录官方现场核验认证，以单次顶进长度3214.96米的成绩斩获“最长的顶管”吉尼斯世界纪录，刷新水下基建领域新高度。

工程采用双线DN2600大口径钢顶管，自2025年11月3日穿江始发，历经234天连续攻坚，平稳穿越长江浅滩、专用航道等关键点位，最终如期顶进至江心取水头部设计位置。

认证仪式现场，吉尼斯世界纪录官方认证官为项目颁发认证证书，正式确认该项世界纪录诞生，标志着我国超长距离水域顶管施工技术跃居国际领先水平。项目形成的成套技术方案与施工经验，为国内外同类跨水域超长顶管工程提供了实操参考样板。
